W e are now into May, it looks like the warmer weather is here to stay (finally). The new docks are in and the boats are slowly starting to arrive. I would like to thank all those that helped build and install the docks. They are rock solid and look great. I know we did not have the best weather to be doing construction outside but the end product is great.

May brings Memorial Day one of our busiest weekends for details, we will need as many that are able to participate. Contact Richard Duffy for details. The full list is posted on the bulletin board in the club and will be sent out again at a later date.

With summer fast approaching we are in the set up phase for the "Summer Bash". Mark your calendars for July 14 we have a great line up of bands set up already. I would like the list of volunteers set by the end of the month for logistical reasons

We are looking for a new bar manager, as well as experienced bartenders to fill in shifts and double cover on busy bands.

Millions more vets to be able to shop at exchanges online
Honorably discharged veterans could be able to shop online at military exchange websites as early as Veterans Day, barring any objections from Congress.
The change in Defense Department policy would open up online exchange shopping privileges to about 18 million more people. It won’t apply to shopping at brick-and-mortar exchange stores.
