Happy New Year from all of us at Community Health Trust! 

As we step into 2026, I’m filled with gratitude for the community that makes our work possible and excitement for what lies ahead. This year marks a season of growth and deeper connection as we expand our support for health and wellness across the Pajaro Valley. 

An Exciting Milestone Ahead: Centro de Bienestar

One of our most significant milestones this year will be the opening of Centro de Bienestar, our new wellness center at 112 E. Beach St. in Watsonville. Construction will begin next month, and we anticipate opening our doors in the fall!

What Centro de Bienestar Will Offer: 

This center will bring together our Food, Wellness, and Care programs under one roof, providing a centralized point of connection for whole-person support.

This space will also include a teaching kitchen for hands-on cooking and nutrition education, as well as a shared community space for meetings, classes, and events. 



Part of a Larger Wellness Campus 

Centro de Bienestar will be part of a broader Healthy Living & Wellness Campus, alongside partners like allcove™ Watsonville and Somos Watsonville. 

Opening in 2026, allcove Watsonville will be part of a statewide network of integrated, holistic mental health centers for young people ages 12-25. Based on a model developed by Stanford University’s Center for Youth Mental Health and Wellbeing, allcove centers are built with, by, and for youth. CHT is proud to serve as the lead agency for this initiative in the community.
