Cosmology of Light Newsletter

Quantum computation was first conceptualized by Dr. Richard Feynman, who proposed that a computer harnessing quantum mechanical processes, as they manifest in Nature, would be exponentially more effective than classical digital computers in simulating physical systems. The question remains: Are superposition, entanglement, and interference sufficient as quantum mechanical processes to claim that we are truly simulating Nature, or are additional principles required?


Paradoxically, while we assert that quantum computation simulates Nature, its current trajectory remains outward-focused—primarily concerned with achieving exponential speedups for problems that classical computers would take eons to solve. However, I argue that quantum computation, by its very nature—dealing with processes that mediate the visible and the invisible—must take an inward turn. It must engage in Yin, immersing itself more deeply into the unseen dimensions, to unlock its vaster potential. This newsletter explores this shift by drawing insights from The Second Singularity Illustrated, the latest book in the Cosmology of Light series.


Moreover, once the Yin foundation has been established, the corresponding Yang foundation must be activated to redefine the very basis of quantum computation. This effort is explored in an upcoming Springer Nature book, Pioneering New Avenues in Quantum Technology, which aims to chart this transformative path.


While current advancements in quantum computation are valuable and admirable, it is the dynamic interplay of Yin and Yang that will enable a vastly different paradigm to emerge—one that transcends computational speedups and reorients quantum technology toward a deeper, more creative purpose.

The Yin


Light exists in a pre-existent complexity, manifesting simultaneously in multiple states. Science has identified physical light traveling at a constant 186,000 miles per second, known as 'c'. Yet, as explored in the Cosmology of Light book series, and as reinforced in the most recent book, The Second Singularity Illustrated, Light may also operate at other constant speeds, all stemming from an imagined native state of infinite velocity.  In that native state where Light exists at infinite speed, it is everywhere at the same time, hence it is omnipresent. Nothing can resist its power in that native state, and hence it is omnipotent. Because anything and everything that arises, arises in it, the Light hence knows everything that appears and disappears, and is omniscient. Since everything is connected in a single embrace in its substance, it is omniloving. 


This fourfold omni-dimensionality reveals that Light inherently contains vast possibility and infinite information, positioning it as the origin of genetics itself. When Light projects at varying speeds, this infinite information is parceled into quanta through quantum computation, materializing progressively. At 'c', the materializing information ignites the Big Bang—a quantum-level unveiling of the information-rich foundation of our universe.


From this light-based edifice behind all things emerge a series of naturally occurring and symmetrical partial-singularities: the quadrumvirate of 'space-time-energy-gravity', the quantum soup of 'quark-lepton-boson-Higgs-boson', the cellular matrix of 'nucleic acid-polysaccharide-lipid-protein', and the mind-driven 'body-life-heart-mind' partial-singularity, where freedom of smallness obscures its unity with the light-edifice. These increasingly complex partial-singularities project more of Light’s embedded information into material form, drawing power from the light-edifice, though their emergences often remain unaware of this oneness.


Life, like matter before it and mind after, arises from potentialities latent within infinite Light. This materialization unfolds through quantum computation—not the random process physicists may often assume, but a persistent, inwardly directed operation governed by a precise mathematics of light. Here lies the 'yin' of quantum computation: an inward turning toward the light-edifice, contrasting with the outward, mechanistic 'yang' of conventional approaches. This book reframes quantum computation as an inward-listening process, attuned to the subtle whispers of Light’s intelligence, where the generation of genetic-type information emerges as a deliberate arbitration of material functions. Far from a mere technical exercise, this inward computation reflects a communion with the light-based source, yielding the genetic-type information that shapes all singularity-biographies.


This shift redefines how quantum computation should be pursued—not as an external manipulation of particles, but as an increasing receptivity with the light-edifice’s inherent dynamics. By turning inward, we access the language of Light, encoded in genetic-type information, which informs subtle and material layers and drives all future materialization.


The Cosmology of Light series, and this book explores this inward-turning 'yin' as the key to unlocking the deeper mathematics and meaning of Light’s unfolding narrative.

The Yang

The book, Pioneering New Avenues in Quantum Technology, reexamines the foundations of quantum computing, challenging the prevailing probabilistic paradigm. It argues that the current enthusiasm for "quantum supremacy" overlooks the deeper complexity of the natural world, proposing instead a systems-view where the quantum level integrates with multiple layers of matter and life. Structured in six parts, the book progresses from questioning basic quantum principles—via a fresh look at the double-slit experiment and introducing a quaternary fractal pattern—to developing the Quaternary Interpretation of Quantum Dynamics (QIQD). QIQD reframes quantum mechanics with "qualified determinism" and "quantum certainty," contrasting with randomness, and extends this framework to explain the architectures of reality, from the electromagnetic spectrum to cellular macromolecules. It culminates in envisioning QIQD-based technologies, such as quantum energy detection and nano-devices, potentially unifying quantum dynamics with spacetime.


This focus establishes the "truer yang" of quantum computation, complementing the "yin" highlighted earlier—an inward-turning, receptive alignment with the light-based edifice. Where the yin emphasizes a sort of communion with Light’s inherent intelligence to generate genetic-type information, the yang emerges as the outward, structured application of this process. QIQD’s qualified determinism and quaternary framework provide a proactive, organizing force—a mathematical and logical architecture that channels the yin’s subtle insights into tangible, systemic outcomes. Chapters on QIQD gates, algorithms, and hardware exemplify this yang, translating the inward-derived certainty into a dynamic, operational design for quantum computers that reflect nature’s layered order.


Together, the yin and yang redefine quantum computation holistically. The yin’s inward focus uncovers the light-edifice’s latent potential, while the yang’s QIQD harnesses this potential into a robust, qualified-deterministic framework, moving beyond probabilistic isolation to a multi-layered integration. Part VI’s applications—detecting quantum energy, sensing emergent structures, and unifying quantum seeds with spacetime—illustrate this synergy, suggesting technologies that embody both the contemplative depth of the yin and the constructive precision of the yang. This duality positions quantum computing not as a mere technical leap, but as a profound reflection of nature’s intelligence, poised to transform our technological landscape.
