September's Most Mischievous!
Meet Bruser:
Bruser's mom says:

"I work from home and look to see this standing the door! He found a roll of double sided tape (I have no idea where he found it). It took me hours to get it all off of him, because he would hide from me after I pulled a piece off!"

Thanks for your submission!
Is your little yorkie mischievous? Click here to send us a photo of them caught in the act or with that guilty face afterward and tell us the story! Your little troublemaker could be featured in our next issue!

Grab some gauze from the cabinet and bring your mummy to life!
Calling all 90's kids, now you can have your own, live Beanie Baby!
Cha Cha Cha YORKIE! Grab some greenery from the craft store and sew or glue to an old sweater for an instant chia pet yorkie!

Foster Parent Testimonies
We asked in our last newsletter why our foster parents love fostering, and here are the responses! We thank all of our foster parents, we know the love you have for yorkies is only matched by your dedication to support the ones who need it the most!

"I foster because my yorkie crossed the rainbow bridge and I was ready for a new one. It turns out, yorkies are expensive! I became a foster parent as a sort of 'rent to own' commitment. My plan was to adopt one of my fosters and it was awesome to see the temperament and personality before I fully committed! I still foster because I found so much joy in it"
--Laura from California

"I just can't get enough yorkie love in my life, that's why I do it!"
--Jean from Washington
"I like seeing that I've connected the right yorkie with the right family. When both dog and human are smiling, my job is complete!"
--Cooper from Ohio

"Yorkies are awesome, need I say more?"
--Jenna from Kansas

Though we have a very committed team of foster parents throughout the country, we need more help! Please consider donating your time to yorkies in need and our organization!

Mary Elizabeth's Corner
HI Everyone,

I hope you are all doing well as we inch our way into Fall, the colors are coming in and the leaves are beginning to fall to the ground and best of all the days are cooler and much less humid.

Yesterday I got my Phizer Booster and at about 3:00 a.m. my nose started running and I started sneezing and feeling a bit achie, not enough to put me in bed but I'm definitely having some kind of reaction. After I took a shower and washed my hair I have a boost of energy to get my part of the newsletter done.

Things have been incredibly slow this month, I got a surrender of three little dogs in Indiana whose mother passed away and it took a couple of days but we have a new volunteer who is not that far away so hopefully we will be able to help. We urgently need more volunteers everywhere in every State so if you are reading this and want to help please go to our web page and fill out a volunteer form. That's YorkieRescue.com just in case.

I heard from Roger Mercer, he and his wife Tana are foster parents to Scooby who is in hospice care with them, I wanted to share his email and a couple of pictures he sent.

"It has been a while since we last communicated so I thought you might want an update. Scoobie is on a cross country RV trip and we are currently in Elmira NY. We left Calif. August 21, with stops in Elko NV, Rock Springs WY, Conifer CO, Russell KS, Moberly MO, North Liberty IA, Swanton OH, Elmira NY. We are here for our friends renewal of vows. We are going to head for NH in a few days and do the leaf peeping thing. Following the leaves south and plan on hitting some civil war sites on our way. Scoobie is doing great. Like me he eats and poops regularly and at our age you can’t ask for more than that 😂 "

Happy Fall Everyone! Stay safe.
