Dear KelCee,
Truss Structures: Timber or Steel?

There is a new study conducted by MIT researchers geared to help reduce the carbon footprint of truss structures. From the construction to their ongoing operations, buildings are a big contributor to global warming. One way to combat this is to use wood.

Wood performs very well and can be implemented in almost every stage of the construction process. Studies have shown that a 10% improvement of greenhouse gas emissions can be achieved if using the guidelines brought about by the results of their work.

To get many more details on this study, please follow the link.
