A joint venture has acquired an office building and adjacent land in Franklin Township, with plans to redevelop the site as a two-building, 426,000-square-foot industrial campus.

CHA Partners recently unveiled a new 120-unit apartment building at the site of the former Muhlenberg Regional Medical Center in Plainfield, doing so more than a decade after the hospital’s closure devastated city residents and set off an emotional, multiyear battle to repurpose the site. 

A development group has started construction at the site of a planned two-building, 1.22 million-square-foot industrial campus near Exit 8 of the New Jersey Turnpike.
