ADVOCATING FOR PUBLIC SCHOOLS!

Advocating for Public Schools

FAITH IN ACTION

UWF friends joined hundreds of teachers, school board members, parents and other advocates of public schools in Austin, TX at a rally against school vouchers. The rally on October 7th started on the capital steps. After listening to several speakers participants walked to the Governor’s mansion to leave pairs of boots at the front gates with a message "to give vouchers the boot."

Why is this an issue for our faith? Voucher issue explained here.
