Concentration of Patient Care Among Buprenorphine-Prescribing Clinicians in the US The number of clinicians authorized to prescribe buprenorphine for opioid use disorder remains low, while many of those who are authorized, do not administer buprenorphine or do so infrequently. Racial and Ethnic Disparities in the Prevalence of Stress and Worry, Mental Health Conditions, and Increased Substance Use Among Adults During the COVID-19 Pandemic — United States, April and May 2020 Systemic social inequities and discrimination contribute to adverse health outcomes that disproportionately impact racial and ethnic minority groups. This study examined the prevalence of self-reported mental health conditions and changes in substance use to cope with stress, psychosocial stressors, and social determinants of health exacerbated during the COVID-19 pandemic.
