On our journey from infancy to adulthood, we all face challenges of many kinds.
Whether it's physical or psychological obstacles, financial hurdles, or relationship difficulties with our families, romantic partners, or co-workers, we must all rise to meet these kinds of challenges the best we can.
Normally those challenges are good and healthy for us, because they help us discover who we are and they encourage us to grow and become more capable and productive human beings ...
But when we fail to overcome them, or even fear we might not be able to, those challenges become struggles that can instead hold us back and prevent us from growing and evolving as we are meant to.
The biggest reason for those failures and fears often comes from feeling as though we are facing our challenges alone and without the support we feel we need to succeed, especially from God.
When we feel alone and abandoned in this way, it can lead to a sense of despair that only makes matters worse and sets us up for those very failures we are trying to avoid.
As you know, before I began my conversations with God, I was trapped in that place of struggle myself ...
But once I discovered that it's possible to feel God's love and support, and receive that Divine guidance in every moment of my day, all the struggle disappeared and the challenges went back to being the healthy and helpful opportunities for growth they're intended to be.
This is why such a big part of my own mission in life is to help as many people as I can learn how to begin having their own conversations with God so they never have to feel that kind of despair ever again.
