Another Fabulous Oyster Roast!

For the second year in a row, we were blessed with gorgeous weather and beautiful fellowship at a parish oyster roast at the home of Nancy and DuBose Egleston!

Top: Suzanne McCord and Nancy McGowan with our host, DuBose Egleston. Above: Sandra Anderson with Kristin and Glenn Martin. Below: Cecilia Walchesky.

Bundled-up St. Philippians and friends chatted and laughed last Saturday while digging into the steaming oysters, downing them plain or dousing them in hot sauce. Giggles and shrieks of joy erupted from play areas in the corners of the yard: from the hula hoop, bubble machine, and cornhole boards near the house or the hammock, swing, and joggling board by the marsh.

Thank you to the Eglestons for graciously hosting their St. Philip’s Church family!

Amen.
