The City of Cedar Park newsletter for City employees
|
|
We begin with some Q & A with our newest employee*, David Wooderson:
Q: So, what've you been up to?
A: Workin’ for the City ... been thinking about getting back into school though man ... but on the other hand, I’d just as soon keep working, keep a little change in my pocket …
All right, all right, all right! Happy April Fool's Day, and remember, City of Cedar Park peeps, you just gotta keep livin' ... L-I-V-I-N!
*Disclaimer: We do not condone David Wooderson's extracurricular behavior and want to be clear that he is in no way qualified to work for the City of Cedar Park.

Above and Beyond Awards
Kudos to Megan Miller and Eva Holguin!
Megan Miller, Crime Scene Technician, Police
"Megan was the only Crime Scene Technician for months ... having two employees leave in this area. Megan took on the responsibility to be there for the community during this time, which meant for her to be on-call every day for four months straight. She showed professionalism, leadership and service during this time for the City of Cedar Park." - Vonda Young
Eva Holguin, Administrative Technician, Public Works
" ... An elderly gentleman walked into Public Works and was upset that he couldn't find the new VA Clinic in Cedar Park. He was going to be late for an appointment and was frustrated to the point of not being able to understand directions. Eva asked the gentleman to follow her to the clinic. She drove ahead of him and guided him to his location. He was pleased to tears that she was willing to go so far out of her way to assist someone in need." - Anonymous
