Come celebrate the start of Kent's holiday season Saturday, December 1

4:30 - Town Tree Lighting in front of Town Hall. A choral group from Kent School will sing, Santa will stop by and hot chocolate & cookies will be provided by the Fife n' Drum. 6:00- KVFD presents the Annual Parade of Lights. Click on Santa for a video Fire trucks and other rolling vehicles will parade down Main Street from Town Hall to the Firehouse. All will be decorated with Christmas lights. Many will play music. The public is invited to decorate a vehicle and join the parade. Refreshments provided at the firehouse after. 6:30-8:00 p.m. The Kent Land Trust's Annual Meeting and Holiday Party at the Community House following the parade of Lights . Free and open to the public.

The next day- Sunday, December 2 KVFD Juniors present the Annual Stuff a Truck from 12-4 p.m. at the Firehouse. Unwrapped toys can be dropped off for Kent's Santa Fund and non perishable food items will be collected for the Kent Food Bank There is more, but this is the first weekend
