It’s a brand-new year and we couldn’t think of a better way to kick off 2022 than with gratitude. There were countless ways that members of the community like you made a difference last year. But the one that brought the most smiles, laughter and a brilliant end to 2021 was your involvement in our annual Adopt A Family program.

This program is an opportunity for individuals, teams, companies and organizations to uplift those in need during the holidays through direct sponsorship and gift giving. Thanks to your support both large and small, more than 40 families and 10 of our group homes had their wishes granted on Christmas Day!

How Does It Work?

Adopt A Family relies on the generosity of sponsors – either individuals, families, teams, organizations, and/or businesses – who commit to adopting a single family or multiple families. These sponsor purchases and provides holiday gifts for each child in the family/families, as well as a special holiday meal for the family to enjoy.

Adopt A Program also makes the holidays special for the individuals in our behavioral health homes living with mentalillness or intellectual and developmental disabilities. Sponsors often provide meals, gifts and warm clothing.
