The development team is excited to announce the introduction of Compassion Journals. These books may look familiar to you. Traditionally they have sat in the front library and have been reminders of both generous donors and families for whom Dr. Kemp's House has made a significant impact. While the family versions of the books will remain cherished on the shelves, the corporate versions will soon be distributed around the house. You are encouraged to share stories, moments, words or even meaningful images on the pages and likewise residents and their loved ones may do the same.
When appropriate, these sentiments may be shared with corporate donors so that they are reminded of their impact, renew or maintain our relationship, and inspire future giving.
Please remember that unlike other charities, we are responsible for telling the story and illustrating the impact of hospice. We are the voices for the souls cared for and the advocates for the future.
