عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ـ رضى الله عنها ـ قَالَتْ قُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ، إِنَّ لِي جَارَيْنِ فَإِلَى أَيِّهِمَا أُهْدِي قَالَ ‏ "‏ إِلَى أَقْرَبِهِمَا مِنْكِ بَابًا ‏"‏‏.‏اللهِ، وَالأَدَبُ مِنَ الآبَاءِ‏. "‏


Narrated Aisha:


I said, "O Allah's Messenger (ﷺ)! I have two neighbors; which of them should I give a gift to?" The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "(Give) to the one whose door is nearer to you."
