The average student pilot can barely make it through their first flight without hearing the phrase, "Pitch controls the airspeed, power controls the elevation." This lesson is usually followed with a demonstration from the flight instructor, before moving on to the next maneuver. But, Acme is forgetting something here. The opposite can be proven, too. The real lesson is in the simple fact that, well, " It all depends.
