THE DESIGNER
Jin Jin will graduate with the highest distinction of the CIDA accredited program from CSU Fresno and has achieved the IDEC Student Design Competition Finalist. She is also a student member of the Central California Nevada Chapter of ASID.
She is passionate in the fields of residential design and commercial design. Jin Jin is looking forward to creating a positive impact on human lifestyle and environment by contributing her knowledge and skill to the design industry.
THE PROJECT
Aviv Wellness is an adaptive reuse and non-profit wellness center. Located in Long Beach, California, our facility provides health services for the community through equal opportunity services, holistic medicine, and health education programs. Obtaining and maintaining good health is essential to living a happy and meaningful life. By optimizing people’s physical, mental, and spiritual states, we can help people achieve their full potential, encompassing every stage of life. As a public health platform supporting the World Health Organization (WHO), Aviv Wellness aims to promote and pursue universal health through Salutogenic Design by offering Therapeutic care that coexists with the sustainable environment to satisfy fundamental human needs of physical, social, and psychological well-being. By acting as a community center and urban health momentum that shares a common goal of improving personal and public health. It strives to educate and support those experiencing adverse health outcomes by providing proper nourishment, physical training, perceived flexible cognitive function, and achieving mood optimization and longevity. Furthermore, offering hydro, contemplative, art, nature, and physical therapy facilities stimulate recovery and relaxation. In World Health Organization’s guiding vision, Aviv Wellness carries a sense of mission to prevent the Covid-19 Pandemic from becoming a repeatable history and is entirely devoted from heartfelt to ensuring and enriching “Health for all.”
