Creston and Carrisa Plains Elementary Schools

joined together for the

Skydome Planetarium Assembly!

The students got to learn about the night sky and our planets in a giant inflatable dome in the Creston cafeteria. The students also got to spend time together at recess and had a great time.

The Childrens' Farmers Market sponsored by the SLO Food Bank brought fresh produce for students to take home to their families this week.

They brought apples, lemons, avocados, strawberries, cauliflower, and sweet potatoes for students to choose from.

Another great week for the Cougars & Polecats!

Atascadero Middle School

Ancient Egyptian Pyramid Construction

In this activity, 6th grade students are engaged in a hands-on challenge that simulates the historical task of transporting large sandstone blocks, akin to the techniques used by the Ancient Egyptians in pyramid construction. By collaboratively strategizing under specific constraints related to weight, friction, and heat, students will gain insights into the engineering challenges faced in ancient times, while reflecting on the importance of teamwork and integrity in

overcoming obstacles.

Way to go!

At Santa Rosa Academic Academy,

all our Roadrunners came together for this month’s exciting assembly:

 “SK8 for Life”!

This event highlighted resilience, confidence, and embracing challenges head-on, values that every Roadrunner carries with pride.

Through inspiring activities and engaging moments, students learned how “SK8 for Life” encourages them to stay balanced, push through obstacles, and keep moving forward in life—just like they would on a skateboard. It was a fantastic opportunity for students to build character and community, leaving them ready to roll

through November with spirit!
