Pray always. Do not lose heart. This is the encouragement of the Christ of the gospel today. Persistence in our every encounter with the divine will be blessed. Wrestle with the word. Remember your baptism again and again. Come regularly to Christ's table. Persistence in our every encounter with the divine will be blessed.

Scripture for this Sunday
Life & Death: an Educational Series
Jesus said: “I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and will take you to myself, so that where I am, there you may be also.” John 14:3

In the first days following a loved one’s death, the family makes an average of 200 decisions. During such an emotional, stressful and demanding time, plans that have been made earlier lighten the load after death. If you’ve not made advance plans, this series will be helpful to you as you make arrangements for end of life care, services and burial of your loved one.

No Registration Needed.
Life & Death Presentation Videos
If you were not able to attend last week's session, would like to see it again, or would like to share the presentation with others, we are video recording each of the Life & Death series and posting them on AdventELC.org .

Baby Taylor Update
This week was a big week for little miss Taylor. She weighs 4 lbs. 2 ounces! She moved out of her incubator/spaceship and into a crib 🙌  AND she wore her first outfit!

She actually wore two because she spit up on one and I’m sure she went through a 3rd by the end of the night. She also spit up on mom, won’t me the last time that’s for sure.

They tried her off the cpap this week. She went a few hours before having to be out back on!

Please keep baby Taylor, and parents Erin and Rick in your prayers.
Time and Change Sunday
“FALL BACK!!!” (We gain an hour! Woohoo!!) on November 3rd. Our Time falls back and that reminds us to bring our loose Change to church. Please help the youth support our Compassion International student, Souaibou Coulibaly by bringing in your spare change to church! Our child, Souaibou, is from Burkina Faso, is in the 9th Grade and has been sponsored by Advent’s youth since 2014. The youth communicate through letters with him about 3 times per year. So remember on November 3rd to “fall back” an hour and bring your spare change to help support the youth in their ministry to this student on Time and Change Sunday!
