Multiple Dates (Oct 22, Oct 31, Nov 25, Nov 28 or Dec 7) - Fabric Layering Workshop (One Day, Beginner) at Jane Selbie’s studio in Haliburton Village. 9 a.m.- 3:00 p.m. Using your own chosen image, you will create a 5”x 7” picture using the fabric layering technique. February 24 - March 2, 2024 - Join Gord Jones in Tequisquiapan, Mexico for a week of watercolour painting, culture, and good food. More info.


Pay-as-you-go painting classes at Boathouse Studio in Carnarvon run all year round and have been going for 7+ years. Mon. or Tues at 10-12 or 1-3. $15 per class.

Arts Council ~ Haliburton Highlands is accepting applications for those interested in joining its Board of Directors. A working board, the ACHH has a wide mandate that it serves through its activities and programming such as the Arts Directory, the Artists in the Schools program, Art in Public Spaces Exhibitions and much more. Any individual with an interest is encouraged to reach out for more information, and at this time, an individual with a financial background or knowledge is especially encouraged as the Arts Council looks to fill its treasurer position in 2024.
