BCSLS Member Spotlights regularly feature a new member. We can get to know each other a littler better professionally and personally. It offers us an opportunity to share our story with colleagues, inspire future college health and wellness professionals, and strengthen awareness of the profession and association.
We will profile a member in a light-hearted Q&A format. Be sure to click on the 'read more' link to see the full Q&A.

Planning for Future Services
Over the past few months, the Board has been discussing opportunities to provide more services to our members. We have lots of great ideas, but we need to hear from you! In March, we will be sending an easy-to-complete online survey to each of our members so that you can tell us which services you think will provide benefit to you. The results from the membership survey will be reviewed by the Board and will set the direction for our planning and implementing new services .
Regulatory College Update
No new news since our December Enewsletter:
The legislative changes that will enable the regulatory reform to be implemented will be brought forward to the spring sitting of the Legislature. Once this legislation has passed, BCSLS will be actively working with government to plan the specifics to bring Medical Laboratory Technologists in our province under the new umbrella college.
