BNH Programs have been busy these past few weeks. There is always cooking at our sites; it's nice to see our members cooking together! Our hardworking Community Garden volunteers celebrated the end of harvest after another successful season, and our September Repair It Cafe was bustling! We hope more people come out for the October session (more info below).

Repair It Cafe

Sunday, October 26th, 10 AM to 2 PM

at South House


Come to our October Repair Cafe and a volunteer will provide advice or help to repair your electronic device, computer, clothing or textile item, small appliance or bicycle. You will enjoy the friendly and helpful atmosphere!

New to the Canadian school system? Join our free preschool program for newcomer families at BNH. this program supports families in learning about the school system, building social connections, and accessing community resources. Newcomer Youth Program

at South House


For newcomer youth between ages of 15 and 35. Join us in a fun and welcoming space to enjoy outdoor games, practice English, build career skills, and express yourself through creative art activities. See attached poster for details.

Seniors Form Filling Clinic

BNH offers free drop in Seniors Form Filling Clinics at all three of our houses to help seniors complete their applications. Trained volunteers will assist with completing forms and provide information about local resources and services to help meet your needs.
