Board Nominations: Due Today!
The CCA Board of Directors Vacancy Committee is soliciting nominations for open board positions. Vacancies occur on the Board most often when a member leaves the school or is unable to continue to serve due to personal or professional reasons.

A vacancy is different than an open election. CCA Board members serve three-year terms. A vacancy is tied to the exiting board member’s term length. The new board member will serve out the remainder of the vacating member’s term. Currently, one vacancy position is for one year of service remaining (through June 2021) and the other is for three years of service remaining (through June 2023).

If you are interested, please click here to complete the Nomination Form.

You are also welcome to click here to submit questions to the Vacancy Committee. Click here to download the Board Frequently Asked Questions document. The Timeline for the Vacancy Committee Process is as follows:

  • TODAY, September 28, 2020 at 5:00 pm: Nominations Due
  • Vacancy Committee Review Process Begins
  • Committee Recommends top candidates to the Board
  • Upon recommendation, Board votes on final candidates at next meeting

Thank you,

Vacancy Committee

7th & 8th Grade Movie Night: Huge Hit
What an amazing week for two nights of outdoor movies! A very special thank you to Ms. Moon and Ms. Ochoa for making it happen and for all of our staff and parent volunteers who donated their time on Wednesday and Friday night to help supervise the event. Our 7th and 8th graders were incredibly happy to enjoy an outdoor movie night! Students read a book in their reading class and then came to CCA at night to watch the movie in a safe, socially distanced, outdoor space.
