On September 14, 2020 teachers and community partners met together for their fall meeting. This biannual meeting included 27 participants and took place using Zoom.
The Chehalis School District Board of Directors adopted revised board policy, updating BP 2170 from "Vocational Education" to "Career and Technical Education." You can find BP 2170 here. This policy directs the work of district leadership and defines the role of both the CTE Program Specific Advisory Committee and CTE General Advisory Council.
At the same meeting in which school board members adopted revised policy, CTE Director Rick Goble presented an overview of the current CTE Program, and outline the 2020-2021 CTE Plan for their consideration. You can find the plan here. This 5-page plan was developed with the CTE Program Specific Advisory Committee last year. It was approved by the Chehalis School District Board of Directors on October 20.
