The Early Days
.
Greetings!

It’s hard to believe that we are now only 7 days away from the launch of our Centenary Year. When we began planning some years ago, never in our wildest dreams, did we expect that all of our carefully laid plans would be stopped in their tracks by a pandemic!

Despite the difficulties that Covid19 has thrown at us, we are lucky that we have been able to play golf for quite a bit of 2020 whilst other sports had to cease all activities. Once again, with the forthcoming Level 5 restriction’s being imposed we are fortunate that we will be permitted to continue playing the game we all love and cherish during these difficult times.

With this in mind, we will be able to play golf on the 1st January and for those of us with our names on the time sheet we look forward to a bit of fun in the scramble format.

However, unfortunately, we won’t be able to have the official Centenary Launch and Captains Drive In the same way as we had originally planned. Instead, this will take place virtually and I am delighted to let you know that you will receive a link on the 1st January where you can enjoy the Drive In and the launch of the Centenary Year from the comfort of your own home and hopefully with a glass of your favourite tipple in hand to toast a successful Centenary year in St Anne’s G.C

In true St. Anne’s Spirit, the show will go on and we hope that you enjoy it.

If you would like to send our Captains a greeting please click on the link below.

Happy Christmas and Happy Golfing in 2021.

NEW SIGN IN CLUBHOUSE TO COMMEMORATE OUR CENTENARY
We are delighted to let you know that a new sign has been erected in the clubhouse to commemorate our Centenary year.

This sign has been hand made by the same artists who did all of the paintings in our dining room, Tetyana Tsaryk and her husband Andriy.

We were delighted that they were able to accept this commission, they have once again, done a wonderful job.
SPONSORSHIP OPPORTUNITES
We are delighted to let you know that all 18 Tee Boxes have now been sponsored and we would like to thank, most sincerely, the members and businesses who have supported us in this project.

You will see the signs go up on the tee boxes early in the New Year on the white and red tee boxes.

If you would like to support the Centenary committee in their efforts you could join our Friends of St. Anne’s Programme (details below)
