Ms. Brady Boyd on her recognition as the March Teacher of the Month by the Germantown Education Commission! Below is the city announcement. We are so proud!
The March Teacher of the Month was awarded to Ms. Brady Boyd, a fourth-grade math and science teacher at Dogwood Elementary School. Ms. Boyd is praised by the parents of her students for her ability to rise to the challenges presented by the COVID-19 pandemic and create a positive and safe environment for her students.
Her enthusiasm for new skills and projects is infectious and inspires her students to get involved and to do their best. She is a pro at meeting students where they are and helping them to find the learning style that best fits. Parents also noted that their students regularly come home excited to share the fun ways they have learned a new skill. Ms. Boyd is also committed to building self-esteem in her students. One way she has accomplished this is by assisting in the Dogwood School talent show. Her coaching and guidance helped boost confidence among student participants.
