Packet Pickup

Virtual packet pickup will continue every Friday morning from 7:00-8:00 a.m. during the second semester. This drive-by moves quickly and just requires two volunteers to exchange folders for the week. The school will have everything prepared and ready for volunteers. Please sign up HERE if you can help!

Mother-Son Spy Date

We are so excited about the upcoming Mother/Son Spy Date! You can reserve your date pack HERE starting TODAY!

Welcome to our New Teachers!

My name is Kelly Hammontree. I am excited to join the Dogwood family! I had the privilege to serve as a kindergarten interim in the fall semester. I experienced firsthand what a great school Dogwood is, and got to know many wonderful students and their families! I am thrilled to stay with the kindergarten team this semester. This is my 14th year teaching and I have taught kindergarten, first, and second grades over the years.

In my spare time I love spending time with my family, reading, and traveling. My husband and I have two daughters, Miller (5) and Laurel (2 1/2). We enjoy going to the zoo, playing outside, and going to the beach. I am looking forward to a great year at Dogwood!

My name is Molly Sanford and I'm so excited to join the 5th grade team as the Science and Social Studies teacher! I have completed my Master of Arts in Teaching through the University of Memphis and completed my clinical teaching semester in a virtual classroom at Forest Hill Elementary. This year has taught me the importance of building community in the classroom no matter the setting and just how resilient we all can be!

Health and Wellness Reminder

As we enter these winter months of school, it’s more important than ever to be vigilant about our health. If your child is sick or experiencing any COVID-19 symptoms, or if they have been directly exposed to someone who has tested positive for COVID-19, please stay home. Please also remember to fill out your Daily Wellness Screenings in Skyward. Classes will continue to wear masks, maintain social distancing, and have scheduled hand washing breaks throughout the day. By doing the right things, we will keep each other healthy and safe.
