Beauty and Viability

Hello Kerri,

Please join us for our Thursday morning breakfast meeting at the Pig 'N Pancake at 8:30 A.M. Thursday, October 12th. We will be having an Open Disussion. At every meeting we have a 50/50 Drawing for various prizes. Buy tickets for $1 each and the grand prize winner will receive 50% of the money collected with the remaining 50% going to the Downtown Beautification Fund. The Grand Prize winner also receives 50% off their next meal at the Pig 'N Pancake.

Our next Board Meeting will be Wednesday, October 18th. Please feel free to contact any of our Board Members with any ideas, questions, or concerns.

There was recently a Public Meeting for Seaside 2050. It was well attended and seemed to be a good start. Please look for future events and be sure to fill out the survey.

Please share the survey with your family, friends, neighbors and employees.

What is a Comprehensive Plan

A Comprehensive Plan is the blueprint for the next few decades. It covers topics like land use, economic development, environmental sustainability, natural resources, public facilities, transportation, and more. Seaside's last Comprehensive Plan was written in 1983 and revised in 1996. Seaside is ready for a new Comprehensive Plan.

There are three key goals of a Comprehensive Plan:

1. Provide a vision for the future of Seaside which can be actualized into goals, priorities, and policies.

2. Create an opportunity for stakeholders like residents, business owners, visitors, and community leaders to get together to discuss ideas.

3. Build a roadmap to ensure that future development is aligned with Seaside's priorities.

Get Involved

Throughout this project, there will be several opportunities for your involvement. Be on the lookout for community events, forums, and surveys. Check back frequently as those opportunities and schedules will be posted on this page.
