Join us as we discuss how to navigate complex church relationships.

Semilla de Gracia is a new EFCA West sponsored effort to reach the Latino population in the Cities of Azusa and Covina in Southern California. These cities have high concentrations of multi-generation Latino families. The planting team is made up of Luis Angel Muñoz, Alberto Gomez, Alejandro Alcala, Oscar Alcala and Victor Hernandez.

Due to the pandemic, all activities have been done virtually, providing pastoral care to the planting team and making future plans to start on site services at one of our Anglo Churches in Covina. You can send a welcome email to Alberto Gomez.

EFCA WEST NEW LEARNING COHORTS

EFCA West is excited to announce the formation of two learning cohorts – one for church board members and elders, and one for mid-level church leaders. Both cohorts consist of five two-hour sessions using the Zoom platform beginning in March and ending in May, 2021. They are offered to EFCA West churches free of charge.

If you're pursuing credentialing or would like to learn more about EFCA history, polity and Statement of Faith, the national office will be hosting a virtual course that explores the historical and theological distinctives of the Free Church movement and the EFCA.

EFCA One 2021 Shifted to Virtual Gathering

Due to COVID-19 health and safety guidelines, EFCA One 2021 will shift from a physical gathering to a one-day virtual gathering, including a business session and a celebration service, on June 23. Please pray that God will be glorified in this change and that it will allow even more participation from our EFCA family across the United States and around the world!

Equality Act - Information and Response

Greg Strand, EFCA Director of Theology and Credentialing shares some resources and Biblical grounding on the Equality Act (H.R.5). This bill was brought before the House of Representatives and passed on February 25. It is now going before the Senate.
