Homework Reimagined: Applying Academics in Afterschool/Sack of Activities that Support Academic Mastery
 
Tuesday, December 14th, 10:00 AM-12:00 PM
 
In this session, we will look specific factors– Students, Staff, Schedules and Spaces that help determine to what extent you can realistically provide academic support. We will also use the SACC activities to explore and reflect on your program’s mission and goals, and generate ways you can provide academic support or enrichment that align with your program’s resources and desired outcomes. Participants will receive a “sack” of Activities that reinforce and provide enrichment for concepts learned in school.

Nurturing Through Nature Recorded Workshop

Interested in taking your classroom outdoors more often, or incorporating nature into your learning environment? This one-hour workshop outlines the importance of child-led play and learning in nature, as well as the role of the adult. It also outlines the supports that can provided in our ELRC.

The Lancaster Interagency Coordinating Council (LICC) is inviting program Directors/Administrators in Lancaster County to a 4 part series on exploring Program-Wide Positive Behavior Interventions & Supports (PW-PBIS). If you have been curious about PBIS and how implementation might look in your program, this series is for you. It is only 5 hours over a 4 week span and you will get all of the information necessary to make an informed decision if PBIS is right for your program.

Keystone STARS
Delay in Go-Live Date of New Keystone STARS Designation System
In an effort to further support programs and allow for continued enhancements to the ARPA grant platform within the PD Registry, OCDEL is delaying the go-live date of the new streamlined Keystone STARS Designation System until July 1, 2022 and the start of the new fiscal year. As a reminder, programs will continue to have access to their Document Vault within the PD Registry and can begin using this centralized storage feature for important documents related to Keystone STARS. Programs can reach out to their ELRCs with any questions related to the delay in rollout.
