In July, FloridaWest EDA launched a new economic development website highlighting The Bluffs Northwest Florida’s Industrial Campus as well as resources and expanded content on targeted industries, workforce data and access to market. The new website targets site selection consultants as well as new and existing businesses looking to explore growth in the Greater Pensacola market.

Get ready to hit the beach this October at ITEN Wired, the Gulf Coast's premier conference for executives, entrepreneurs, professionals, and educators working in technology.

Businesses Form 2-County Economic Development Organization

More than 30 businesses in Escambia and Santa Rosa counties have joined together to form First Place Partners, a private-sector group designed to support economic development efforts in the two-county region.

The organization, which has been in the works since last October, has elected a board of directors and began forming working committees to get the private sector more engaged in job creation.
