Hello Fisher Families,
I hope you all had a chance to relax and rejuvenate over the Labor Day Weekend.
Thank you to those who were able to join us for the Coffee Chats on Thursday and Friday. I am thankful for the opportunity to share more about myself with all of you and to have answered the questions you shared. We collected the questions throughout the Chat and have shared them in our FAQ document linked for your convenience.
Our Work Group and Site Leadership Team have begun reviewing the data, including the 680 parent comments, from the staff and parent surveys. We are working to consolidate the comments and provide families, staff and students with a clear picture of the results. We plan to share the data to our stakeholder groups as soon as possible.
Thank you all for your continued support.
Sincerely,
Mary Lonhart
Principal

Fisher announced these changes for Monday Holiday weeks on our website and in last week's newsletter. Please make sure that you review the schedule for the rest of this week and then take note that this same schedule will be used for all weeks when we have a Monday holiday.
From last week's newsletter:
Labor Day week is here! Please review below how will we be handling the A/B/C day schedules this week.
- Monday, Sept. 7 - No school
- Tuesday, Sept. 8 - B Day
- Wednesday, Sept. 9 - A Day
- Thursday, Sept. 10 - A Day
- Friday, Sept. 11 - B Day
Families will receive reminders of this changed schedule as each Monday holiday approaches. For your planning purposes, the following are the Monday holidays:

- October 5, LGUSD Professional Development
- January 18, Martin Luther King Jr. Holiday
- May 31, Memorial Day

|
Just a reminder!!! All Fisher students should be using an LGUSD-provisioned Chromebook. Students using devices other than the district-provisioned Chromebooks seem to be experiencing technical difficulties that we are unable to support. Here is the link for requesting a loaner Chromebook:
