Learning Fun at HSAD

We had a great 3rd quarter full of fun activities and engaging classes.

Don't forget to re-enroll your child for next school year. Spots are already filling up, and we want to ensure that your child's spot is secure. Also, let friends and family members know about our school, and if they enroll their child, you will receive a special summer fun basket for your family.

Connecting with NASA

One of the highlights of this quarter was on March 2nd. Students and teachers in grades 3rd-8th had the opportunity to speak with astronauts on the International Space Station, as well as hear messages from congressmen, the mayor of Cleveland, and our own Ms. Nixon, who now works for NASA. First Grade: Forces & Motion

Mrs. Bonamico's 1st graders are learning about forces and motion this quarter. The class sorted actions by push or pull then acted them out to check their work.

Children's Museum Kg-3rd

Each quarter Mr. Akben takes small groups of students to the Cleveland Children's Museum. The students have a wonderful time, and we secretly think it's Mr. Akben's favorite place to go!

Congratulations to these amazing 5th graders! They earned an ice cream party for getting a perfect score on our vocabulary test that had all 60 words we’ve learned so far this school year!

In Mr. Thompson's art class, students were studying the paintings of Jean Michel Basquiat.

The kinders in KA made "signature crowns" to honor his artwork.
