We are a dedicated group of volunteers committed to helping over 20,000 children and families served by Kids in Distress (KID) in South Florida.
Our fundraising efforts support programs provided by KID, including education, prevention, foster care, and family strengthening.
As ambassadors in the community, we raise awareness for the children
in foster care and the family services KID provides in the tri-county area. 

We are thrilled to launch the
2023 Thanksgiving Food Drive campaign!
Our aim: collect 1500 complete meal bags
and $25K in cash/gift cards.
Here's our plan:
Publix Food drives -
Double hours opportunity!

Volunteers needed 

KID Aux and KHK are hosting two food drives at the following Publix locations:

  • Weston Town Center - 9am-11:30am, 11:30am- 2pm and 2pm-4pm
  • Cooper City - 10am-12pm and 12pm-2:30pm

We are looking for 2 adults and 4 teenagers for each shift.

AHS Thanksgiving Food Drive 
 
KHK Club, in partnership with the Action Pakt and the International Club, are hosting a Thanksgiving Food Drive on
Saturday, Oct 28 from 12pm to 3pm, at
American Heritage School Plantation, Parking lot #1.

Please stop by and drop off your complete meal bag(s) -
5 hours per bag.
