July | 2024

On their way! Little graduates get a proud send off from KidsAbility School staff who know each child has the confidence and skills to thrive in their future fall classrooms, thanks to your support.

Hi Lisa,

Remember your childhood and how the final day of school signaled the first day of summer fun?

Today, we celebrate both in this July Connections issue. As the summer weather beckons everyone outdoors, I'm so very excited to share with you that our new Waterloo playground is open to all!

Supported by our donors and KidsAbility Shool, our welcoming and inclusive play environment is designed for everyone—those children who access KidsAbility services and those in our surrounding community. It's set to stimulate creativity and imagination. It's equipped to foster movement and exploration. It's designed to promote inclusion and understanding. And it's all thanks to you.

It’s my deepest hope that you, your children or grandchildren, your neighbour and their family will come to know our playground as a supportive space that nurtures outdoor fun and reflects the best of what our community is—where every child can thrive through play!

Warmest regards,

Lisa Talbot, Executive Director, KidsAbility Foundation

Meet Suk Bedi

Father to Harbani and Kabir, Suk is commiteed to supporting KidsAbility and children in our wider community.

When it was first identified that the former KidsAbility Waterloo playground was in need of replacing, our Foundation team launched the Come Play with Us playground campaign. Today, Suk shares why investing in a space for every child to play, explore and have fun was personally important for him to support.

We are so grateful for each donor who generously contributed to the Come Play with Me playground project in 2023. Thanks to you, local kids and families have a space to explore and have fun where they live, work ... and play!

Recognizing our donors who made this playground possible!
