Meet our Volunteer of the Month: Leslie McDonald
I started at the old library and was on the Friends’ Board for a few years and I was active during site proposals for the new library. I started as a circulation volunteer in the new library back in 2018 and then moved on to transit. I have also helped to decorate the lobby display case for Volunteer Appreciation and helped with the displays for the Shakespeare events dressing the mannequins.
Since becoming a volunteer I realized that the Lewes Public Library is so much than books! It is a community resource for learning and a greater understanding of the scope of our services throughout the state libraries and school system.
One of my favorite moments has been working with Tracy to help set up displays.
