Mercer Island FC is our community's volunteer-led, non-profit soccer club for kids of all ages. Let’s play!
Winter Sharpness/Parent Skills is back!
We've offered this popular Friday night program for years. Starting January 4th and running through the end of February, Winter Sharpness allows players to scrimmage with other players of their age and skill level under the watchful eye of MIHS boys Coach Colin Rigby, assisted by experienced MIFC and Eastside FC coaches. Last year MIHS girls Coach James Valles also helped out on a few Friday nights. Not only do the kids get high quality, academy-style training from great coaches, but the parents get a training session too!

BU10 Bandits are EYSA Recreational Cup Champions!
After a great season (7-0-1), the Bandits reached the Recreational Cup finals against their regular season rivals, the Issaquah FC Tritons. The teams were evenly matched and the game went back-and-forth, but late in the 10-minute overtime period the Bandits triumphed. Way to go, boys!
GU15 Tarhills go to PKs in Cup Final!
Congratulations to our GU15 MIFC Tarhills for making it to the Washington Youth Soccer Recreational Cup Finals! They fought valiantly but ultimately lost in a heartbreaker - kicks from the mark after overtime. Well done, ladies, on a great run and successful season!
MIFC '09 Select teams dominate!
Not one, not two, but THREE champion Select teams in our '09 age group:

G'09 Maroon - Div 2 Champs
(Coach Elliot Fauske)

B'09 Maroon - Div 1 Champs
(Coach Aaron Byers)

B'09 White - Div 2 Champs
(Coach Francois Delafosse)

All three teams exemplify the possession style of soccer that our club espouses.

Congratulations to all of these great kids and their oustanding coaches!
Nutrition matters!
There is no doubt that proper nutrition and hydration is key to life in general, but especially athletic performance. Thanks to IMS eighth-grader, Arden Paglia, we now have a comprehensive nutrition guide on on how to best fuel our club's young players to meet the physical and mental demands of soccer.
