| | Annual Good Turn for Tamarancho --- Saturday, May 2 | |
The Council Camping & Properties Committees invite your Cub Pack adult volunteers and Scouts BSA youth and troop leaders to join dedicated volunteers in giving back to our local Camp Tamarancho we all love and adore by "doing a good turn" with camp service projects. It's been over a year now since the Iron Springs Road landslide repairs allowed regular vehicular traffic, and our beautiful camp property is showing some wear-and-tear! Come up to camp for the day and give back to Tamarancho, helping us beautify the property by cleaning up brush and downed trees in campsite areas, improving road maintenance by filling potholes, and clearing the pond dam of unwanted invasive vegetation. Saturday lunch will be served for all who register in advance! Please register your unit by emailing Office Mgr Cynthia Mueller or District Exec MJ Andrews. Let's be proud of Tamarancho again!

| | Marin Council Wants Your Scout to Go to Summer Camp! | |
Access to outdoor adventure is the promise made to young people when they join Scouting. Boys and girls yearn for outdoor programs that stir their imagination and interest. In the Outdoors we strive to meet the four Aims of Scouting: Citizenship Training, Character Growth, Personal Fitness, and Leadership Development.
The annual Summer experience is critical to delivering the promise of adventure and the mission of Scouting America to our youth and can be the highlight of their year! Don't let your Scout get left behind from attending Cub Scout Day Camp, Scouts BSA Summer Camp or NYLT, and utilize the attached Council aid resources designed to help your family finance your Scout to attend the camp programs of their choice!
