A Note From Nils

It was great to see so many family members at the Fall Costume Parade and Fall Party. We liked having it indoors, and are seriously considering making that our new tradition

We would like to invite our Pray-Woodman Pride WATCH D.O.G.S. (Dads of Great Students) to our Kick-Off Breakfast on Thursday, Dec. 5 at 7:45 a.m. Come for breakfast with your child(ren) and find out how to get involved in this awesome program. We have added some different options to get even more volunteers working with our students during the second semester. Watch for more information coming soon!

Our first music program will be next Thursday, November 18th (4th Grade at 6:30 p.m.; 5th Grade at 7:30 p.m.) at Maize High School.

We hope you can join us for these future music programs:

March 2nd at MHS
2nd Grade at 6:30 p.m.
3rd Grade at 7:30 p.m.

April 6th at MHS
Kindergarten at 6:30 p.m.
1st Grade at 7:30 p.m.

We would like to thank Mary Frakes, Communications Secretary, for her service to our Pray-Woodman Pride students, staff, and families. And we would like to welcome Martin O'Brien, our new assistant custodian.

Happy Thanksgiving!

EXCEL with Pray-Woodman Pride!

If you would like to contribute; place canned, boxed and non-perishable food items in the Target bag that your child will be bringing home soon and have your child bring it to school. 4th and 5th Grade Vocal Music Concert
November 18, 2019

4th Grade Music Program at 6:30 PM
5th Grade Music Program at 7:30 PM

Maize High School
11600 West 45th Street North, Maize, KS, 67101

Please arrive 15 minutes before your concert starts so that we have time to warm up and get in riser order.

Students will need to wear red, white, and/or black for their top. I would prefer shirts with no words and no large graphic pictures. Solid colors or multi-colored patterns work great on stage. Below the shirt, students may wear blue jeans or black or red pants. Please do not go out and buy something new. Shoes should be comfortable and easy to dance in (avoid sandals, crocs, heels, and flip-flops).

Mrs. Swedberg and Mrs. Zuniga

We still have some PWS apparel left in our online store:  https://pws-pto.square.site/  Orders will be sent home with your student within three business days, so please note your student’s name and their home room teacher on the ‘notes’ in your checkout page. We also have some clearance priced apparel from previous years.
Mark your calendars for the next general meeting for PTO:  November 12 th  at 4:00 in the band room.  Childcare is provided. We will be communicating some important and exciting changes to our Glow party fundraising structure so you won’t want to miss!
