New at Rimrock Trails

The Oregon Community Foundation granted Rimrock Trails Treatment Services $30,000 to hire a full-time Community Relations Manager. The position will assist Rimrock Trails in improving community access to mental health and substance use disorder treatment services, build relationships with community partners and educate the public on issues related to mental health and substance use. The award allows the organization to seek an additional $15,000 in the second year.

Tis' the Season of Giving and the Central Oregon Community did not disappoint!

For nearly three decades Rimrock Trails has operated an adolescent residential treatment program in Crook County. Our residential treatment program is one of only five in the State of Oregon, and serves adolescents 12-17 years of age throughout the Northwest with severe substance use concerns. To date, our residential treatment program has created a foundation for healing, strengthened family connections and offered hope to over 3,000 teens and their families.

The Holiday Season can be especially hard for our teen residents as they are away from their family and friends. To make the Holidays brighter for our clients, many of our community partners embraced the spirit of giving by donating their money, time and talents to our program.

Rimrock Trails Treatment Services was thrilled to be chosen as the recipients of the Century 21 North Homes Realty's Community Giving Tree. The gifts will be given to the Rimrock Trails teen residents.

Gift tags can be picked up in the Redmond Century 21 office from now through December 23. Pick-up and drop-off times are Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Gifts must be new and unwrapped to be accepted.

We are thankful to our valued partners at Northwestern Home Loans for their generous gift of $1,500.00! This kind donation will allow our Rimrock Trails Team to purchase holiday gifts for the teen residents in our residential treatment program.

The Redmond Chamber of Commerce chose Rimrock Trails to be the beneficiaries of their 50/50 Raffle Program Award. The Raffle produced a $300.00 award which will help Rimrock Trails continue to provide healing, connection and hope to our clients and community.

Anthony Carmack

Residential Treatment Program Mentor

Native Prineville resident Anthony Carmack always knew he wanted to work with kids. He has done just that as a Residential Mentor at Rimrock Trails.

Anthony began his career working with kids as a Private Music Instructor and Instructional Assistant for the Crook County School District. Shortly after, he was hired as a Residential Mentor at Rimrock Trails. Anthony has worked in the residential treatment program for nearly 4 years. During this time he began attending Western Governors University and will be graduating in 2020 with a Bachelor's of Arts in special education.

Anthony and his wife, Whitney love living in Prineville and spending time with their family and friends. The two can be found hiking, traveling and browsing through Lowe's looking for their next project.

Join Mazatlan's and your Rimrock Trails team for an evening of food, fun and fundraising! On Monday, January 27, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at both the Redmond and Prineville locations, Mazatlan's will give a portion of their dinner proceeds to support Rimrock Trails. We hope to see you there!
