The mind and body are intimately connected, and both influence the immune system. When we experience stress or worry, physically or emotionally, the effectiveness of our immune system can be compromised. Repeated or prolonged negative stress, wear and tear on the nervous system, can lead to mental, physical, or emotional exhaustion — thus increasing susceptibility to imbalance and lowering immunity.
Support your ability to avoid or deal with stress and strengthen immunity with these simple Ayurvedic tips:
- Exercise regularly. Walk your pet, practice yoga asanas, go for a bike ride. If you enjoy vigorous exercise, use up to half of your energy and conserve the rest. Try not to over-exercise which can physically stress your body.
- Give yourself a rejuvenating Abhyanga self-massage with warm oil to pacify your nervous system. Take a warm bath or shower afterward.
- Practice meditation. Transcendental Meditation, 20 minutes twice a day, or the meditation of your choice. Morning mediation relieves stress and prepares you for the day ahead. And in the evening, it can help you release the day's build-up stress and tension.
- Allow yourself plenty of time in the morning to start your day in a peaceful and balanced way and take time to enjoy some pleasant relaxing activity in the evening. Aim for lights out around 10 p.m.
- Positivity is a powerful medicine. The more stress-free your day, the easier it will be to have blissful sleep at night and start the next day with ease. When you can, take some time and focus on pleasant things. There is no shortage of difficult news in the world today, so try putting your time and attention elsewhere, somewhere that brings a smile to your face.

We anticipate that the flying block for CIC 88 will begin during the last week in December.

A very special time of major transformation -
Raja Luis
|
|
Raja Luis echoed the words of Maharaja a few days ago, that we are passing through a very special time of transformation, where the creation
of coherence
is so important by all our Movement family, and the Maharishi Jyotishis have said last year that 2020 will be a year of major transformation, and probably the world will not be the same after this.
This means consciousness needs to rise more and grow more in order to bridge the gap that is felt now in the world, in its destiny and its direction.
Maharishi's knowledge has the power of coherence and world transforming ability to bring the best out of a challenging time like this. At such a time we focus inward to increase the coherence for the whole world to soften up the process. If we use this time well and do our best, we'll remember it in future as the final transition time to a period when all mankind is growing in consciousness, and the boundaries, the concepts, the limitations, were tested to the limit in order to increase our capacity as mankind for the time that has to come, a time that is building up month after month for so many years with our coherence-creating programme, of a new time which is on the horizon.

Meditation helps in times of crisis
Firefighters control flames as the main installation of the Fallas Festival depicting a woman in meditation is put on fire in Valencia early on March 17, 2020 after the festival was cancelled due to the coronavirus outbreak. - Measures have been put in place to try and halt the virus in hard-hit Spain, which has more than 9,100 confirmed cases and 309 deaths -- the second worst-affected country in Europe.

Today we are all living under constant and massive stress. Every day, we have to make decisions in conditions that could not have been predicted even a few short weeks ago. The coronavirus, quarantine, transport lockdown and the financial crisis have turned the world upside down.
And yet, despite daily unpleasant surprises in our news feeds, our decisions must remain balanced and effective.
People in business today can be compared to surfers who catch giant waves and try to keep their balance. When I tried to stand up on a surfboard this year, I realized that surfing, just like business, requires tremendous concentration and effort.
According to international studies, 90 percent of executives suffer from chronic overexertion. This decreases both their effectiveness and the profitability of their companies.
In times of crisis, top managers and other professionals can make poor decisions that in turn stress out their employees.
The effect of this chain reaction has a significant impact on business and the economy as a whole.
Depression and anxiety related to overexertion cost the global economy around $1 trillion annually.
According to an international study by the Lancet Commission sponsored by one of the most reputable medical journals, the Lancet, mental disorders are proliferating worldwide. This could cost the global economy as much as $16 trillion by 2030.
