Save the Dates for the celebration of MIU's 50th Anniversary!
September 2nd - 6th
During these days, we will celebrate the remarkable achievements of these past 50 years since our founder, His Holiness Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, charged us with creating the world's Flagship Model for Consciousness-Based Education.

And today, as we find ourselves in the midst of the most explosive growth in the history of our University, we will plot the course for the next 50 years of progress towards the fulfillment of our global mission.

Join us in Fairfield or online. More details of the celebration will be forthcoming, but do save the dates!

Our many activities will include Gala Dome Celebrations, Fireworks, surprise Celebrity appearances and celebrity entertainment, tours of our major Campus renovations, a 50th Anniversary Art Exposition at our new Wege Center for the Arts, and a keynote address by Dr. Tony Nader (Raja Raam). Our lead faculty will present the most exciting breakthroughs in their fields. And musical, social and alumni events will be sprinkled throughout.

Opportunity to play rain raga
Gandharva Veda music produces the influence of harmony in one’s environment, which creates a harmonious influence in the field of consciousness, purifying and nourishing the environmental trends... It neutralizes stress everywhere—inside and outside.”— Maharishi

Maharishi Gandharva Veda Rain Melody
Restoring Greater Balance in Nature
Helping to bring relief to those areas affected by the recent severe droughts and related fires

For more than 60 years, Maharishi brought to the world a series of programs and procedures to reduce stress and create greater harmony in the individual and society. In 1996, he introduced Maharishi Gandharva VedaSM music, “the music of nature,” to “create a harmonious influence in the field of consciousness, purifying and nourishing environmental trends.”

The origins of Maharishi Gandharva Veda music
Originating from the ancient Vedic tradition of India, Maharishi Gandharva Veda music has been historically used to enliven the evolutionary quality of nature, to re-establish balance and create greater harmony in the environment. This is especially important in those areas facing greater levels of imbalance caused by the buildup of stress in the environment.

Using Vedic technology to bring relief
The recent wildfires and resulting devastation taking place in the Western U.S. have moved us to make this knowledge and Vedic technology more available to help bring relief from the severe droughts and related fires, and to help restore balance in nature.
