For the first time in it's history, Wing Ding is headed to the great state of Louisiana and it's third largest city, Shreveport!
Seated on the banks of the Red River, Shreveport is linked in many ways with its sister city on the other side of the river, Bossier City. Many refer to the two cities as "Shreveport-Bossier." Situated in the northwest corner of the state near the borders of Texas and Arkansas, Shreveport serves as the commercial and cultural center of the tri-state region, a region which is widely considered to be the border between the West and the South.
Shreveport has become a popular tourist destination largely due to its various riverboat casinos, numerous historic landmarks, art galleries, museums and much more!

As always, we have teamed up with the Shreveport-Bossier Convention and Visitors Bureau who will not only be hosting a grand Wing Ding Welcome Party but has also helped us secure some great room blocks at guaranteed rates! Be sure to book your room before they're all gone! The Shreveport Hilton hotel is already sold out but there are plenty of other great options still available!

Join us on Thursday, June 30, for an evening of fun, food, and friendship as we gather for the annual GWRRA dinner and entertainment event with live music from the Caravan Band! Since 1999, The Caravan Band has become a staple of the entertainment scene in northern Louisiana elevating the atmosphere of any event with an unparalleled live music experience.
This years theme is, of course, Mardi Gras so dress up and prepare to have some fun with some live music and dancing with a few hundred of your closest GWRRA friends!
Dinner includes: Pulled Pork w/BBQ Sauce, Potato Salad, Baked Beans, Fresh Dinner Rolls, Chef's choice of dessert, Iced Tea and Water.

In keeping with tradition, we have an additional night of dinner and live entertainment, brought to you by one of our terrific sponsors and an exhibiting partner since the very first Wing Ding, J&M Corporation! Gather up your friends, or meet new ones, as we break bread and enjoy a full evening of live entertainment on Wednesday, June 29. As always, J&M will have thousands of dollars in great prizes to raffle off with the proceeds going to a local charity in the Shreveport/Bossier area.

Experience The Boom
or Bust Byway
Start your journey through the scenic, back road countryside along the Boom or Bust Byway. This byway is the ultimate road trip for international visitors, families, retirees, and young explorers who are looking for an off-the-beaten-path adventure. This self-driving tour offers great biking paths, fishing holes, antique shops, local diners, and more.
The Boom or Bust Byway follows Highway 2 and is defined by the Louisiana/Texas border and Hwy. 3049 on the west and Lake Claiborne on the east. The Byway is comprised of four parishes: Caddo, Bossier, Webster, and Claiborne. Navigating through the Boom or Bust Byway creates the opportunity for travelers to enjoy the company of local people, indulge in southern eateries, and attend popular festivals throughout the rural towns while recharging in the peaceful setting only found along our byway.
