Cal State San Bernardino extends Fall

2026 application deadline to March 31


Cal State San Bernardino has extended the Fall 2026 undergraduate application deadline to Tuesday, March 31, giving first-time freshmen and transfer students additional time to apply.

Xavier College Preparatory High School wins 21st Annual Academic WorldQuest at CSUSB Palm Desert Campus


Nine Coachella Valley high schools competed in the 21st annual Academic WorldQuest competition on Feb. 12.


The event was facilitated and coordinated by Michael Karp, an assistant professor of history at PDC and member of the World Affairs Council of the Desert board of directors.

The I ❤️ CA Dream Act campaign promotes safe financial aid opportunities, information and support for undocumented students to be empowered and equipped to pursue their educational goals.

Emerging Leaders Program


17 students from the CSUSB Palm Desert Campus participated in the Palm Desert Area Chamber of Commerce’s Emerging Leaders Program Communications Session for a firsthand look at professional communication in action across multiple industries.


The experience included an exclusive tour of KESQ News Channel 3, offering a behind-the-scenes look at local media and broadcasting, as well as a visit to General Air Conditioning & Plumbing, where students learned how strong communication supports successful business operations.


The Emerging Leaders Program:

-Connects local college students with local businesses and professionals;

-Provides hands-on learning, leadership development and mentorship;

-Encourages students to stay and build their careers in the Coachella Valley; and

-Is offered 100% free to students.


It’s partnerships like this that help bridge education and industry in the Coachella Valley and help shape confident, career-ready leaders for tomorrow.

Cody's Closet Open House


Cody's Closet at PDC held a special Open House on Feb. 19 to welcome students, faculty and staff to the newly established space on campus.


A partnership between the departments of Basic Needs and Student Support and the Career Center, Cody's Closet is a free professional clothing resource, available exclusively to CSUSB students and alumni. Whether preparing for interviews, internships, career fairs, presentations, or networking events, Cody's Closet is here to help students show up confident and career-ready and ensure that financial barriers never stand in the way of professional success.
