Careers in Nursing College Night
The CSUSB Palm Desert Campus Nursing Department and OneFuture Coachella Valley hosted a Careers in Nursing College Night at PDC — connecting local high school students and families with our amazing nursing community!
Student participants completed the CliftonStrengths Assessment and trained with Susan Chang from Lead With Strengths to explore how their unique strengths can support their growth as nurses. Guests toured our simulation labs, met faculty and students, and engaged in a student-led panel over dinner.
Next term, mentors will be paired with high school mentees to continue building confidence, leadership and passion for nursing.

Open house for high school students interested in business programs
Local high school juniors and seniors filled the Indian Wells Theater on campus to learn more about the many programs the Jack H. Brown College of Business and Public Administration at CSUSB has to offer, including, but not limited to, hospitality management, marketing, accounting and finance, and cybersecurity. Attendees also had the opportunity to tour the campus and meet with faculty and industry professionals.

Nursing Research Symposium
The Department of Nursing at CSUSB’s Palm Desert Campus took part in the 2nd Nursing Research and Evidence-Based Practice Symposium at Eisenhower Health.
Our nursing students gained valuable insights into real-world nursing research and evidence-based practice, while PDC faculty, students and alumni delivered outstanding podium and poster presentations.
