In the Study with Fr. Trace
|
|
Join us as we explore a timely book that speaks with passion and insight to the present and future of the church. It is "The Church Cracked Open" by Stephanie Spellers. An Episcopal priest, Stephanie serves as Presiding Bishop's Canon for Evangelism, Reconciliation, and Creation. She is a dynamic speaker and author.
The discussion-based class will take place via Zoom, and will be offered twice each week: Wednesdays at 7:00 pm, and Thursdays at 10:00 am. It will be the same class on Wed. and Thur, so you can choose whichever one works best for you.
You will need to purchase your own copy of the book. It is available on Amazon in paperback or on Kindle.
Please email Fr. Trace to register for the course.

Please note that Wed Evening Compline is at 8pm following In the Study (moved up from 8:30pm)

Livestream Worship
Coming Soon
|
We are still planning on offering a livestream of a service of Holy Eucharist. We had hoped to have it available, but there have been some technical issues we need to work through. Check the website, Worship Online tab, for the latest updates, and how to watch the service.
Because of the needs of our families with children, we have decided that the 10:30am service will be broadcast instead of the 8am.
Drive through communion will be available following the service, from 11:45-12:15.
You can also re-watch the broadcast at anytime following on our YouTube page.
|
Office Hours
The office is now open on Tuesdays & Wednesdays from 11am-4pm.
You can always reach us by email at other times.

Did someone
say
coffee?
Yes!
We are going to begin having coffee hour again after our 8 and 10:30 Sunday worship services. It will be held outdoors on the patio.
There will be a sign-up sheet in the parish hall this Sunday, 30 May. You can just make coffee if you would like, or, if you would like a bit more, you can bring some store-bought snacks.
See you over a cup of coffee on the 30th!
|
|
Altar Flowers Sign-up
We will again have flowers at the altar each Sunday and traditionally we have had a sign-up sheet to help offset the cost for them.
A new sign-up sheet is available by the coffee hour sign-up by the kitchen.
You may give in Memory of someone, or in Thanksgiving for someone or something.
Suggested donation: $45 for one person giving or $30 for two.
(checks paid to All Saints Church - memo line: Altar Flowers)

"Drop-In" Committee Members
|
So let's talk committees. Look, we get it, the idea of volunteering for a committee seems like a time-over-committment. That's why we are now looking for "drop-in" committee members: as a member of the committee you choose which meetings you attend and which events you volunteer for. We will work on making the notes from each meeting accessible online for you to keep up with.
As we begin coming back together at All Saints, we will be exploring new ways our committees put faith into practice. Stay tuned to see which committee you want to drop into.

Our creator God,
who has redeemed us, and who sustains us.
Holy is your name.
We pray for your full kingdom to come
and for your will to be our action where we are,
as it is where you dwell.
Feed us with your presence each and every day.
We pray for your continual grace in forgiveness,
as we also pray for the grace to forgive those who we feel has harmed us.
We pray to save us from all the uncomfortableness we may experience in following you,
and to save us from all temptations of the ways of the world.
We know and affirm that all of creation
and all the power and all glory belong to you,
forever and ever. AMEN.
~ A prayer from Rev. Dcn. Alison Desiderio Peterson
