PAHO/WHO FCU hosted credit union leaders and regulators from several African countries as part of an exchange program sponsored by the African Confederation of Co-operative Savings and Credit Association (ACCOSCA), which is the national association for African credit unions. The discussions, which took place in November of last year, centered on credit union governance, technology, risk management and how leaders from credit unions in Africa can improve the lives of everyday Africans through credit union membership.
