Dear Camp Families,

In 4 short months our Director Team will be arriving at camp to get ready for the 2019 camp season. Now is the time for our camp families to start the process of completing the necessary camp forms. The information you provide goes a long way to insure the safety and welfare of your child. Please take the time to carefully complete the camper profile and feel free to call us in the office if there is anything that you would like to discuss. All of the required camp forms can be found in your CampMinder account by clicking here .

• Additional Options (Horseback Riding, Golf and Linens)
• Bunk Request
• Camper and Family Profile
• Camper Medication Letter
• Emergency Medical Authorization Form (for EpiPens and inhalers)
• Health History (completed by parent)
• Parent Authorization Form
• Physician and Immunization Form (completed by a doctor)
• Transportation Form

It has been fun seeing so many new and returning campers over the last few months during our travels. If you know anyone interested in learning about North Star, email us their contact info or have the family contact us in the office. We always appreciate referrals. For those families from last summer who aren't enrolled yet for 2019, don't delay much longer. The second session is filling up quickly. Some cabins are down to 1 spot left.

The Camp office is open Monday through Friday, from 9 am - 5 pm, if you have any questions or need help completing your forms. You can reach our office via email at  [email protected]  or at 207-998-4777.

Warm regards,

Brooke and Steven
North Star's New Website
We hope you've seen our new website that we launched earlier this week. If you haven't, click here . There is even more information now at your fingertips to get campers and camp families ready for the summer. Let us know what you think. And if you are on Facebook, it would be great if you can share the link with your Facebook friends to tell everyone about your child's summer home.
Evening Activities
Thanks to all the campers who responded to the poll in our last newsletter asking for their favorite evening activity. And the winner is...Gold Rush! Rest assured, that it will be back on the calendar for 2019. We will also have some exciting new activities along with our traditional favorites like campfires, lip sync contest, cabin night, dances, and casino night. Some evening activities are a camp-wide event, while others are separated by division or gender. There's alway something fun to do every night!
Horseback Riding and Golf Lessons
We continue to offer horseback riding and golf lessons as part of our weekly elective program. Horseback riding is a double period for 2 hours daily. Golf is a single period for 1 hour each day. Register by using the Additional Options Form in your CampMinder Account.

We partner with Wilsonbrook Farm to offer horseback riding instruction at their facility which includes over 100 acres of trails and hills, a round pen and an indoor arena for rainy days. Riding is offered at an additional fee of $300 per week.

Golf lessons are offered for first time players through advanced golfers. Instruction is at Poland Spring Golf Course , where their PGA pros coach our campers. Golf is offered at an additional fee of $150 per week.
Camp Clothing
It's never too early to start ordering your camp clothes. Every camper is required to have an Orange Trip T-Shirt, Green Logo T-Shirt, Green Logo Shorts, and CNS Sweatshirt. There's also a wide selection of optional clothes including jackets, pajamas and socks, in addition to essentials like duffel bags and bedding. Click here to go to our online store at The Camp Spot.
