This Sunday

Come join us for worship this Sunday at 11:00 a.m., as we will be celebrating Jesus’ triumphant entry into Jerusalem and the beginning of holy week. This joyous service will be in both English and Spanish. We will commence the service with a festive procession entering the building while waving palm branches and singing. This procession is a joyous one, in stark contrast to the somber forty days of lent. Come join us for the joy that is Palm Sunday!

Lenten Video Devotions and Mid-week Services

Pastor Mike has recorded and put up on Youtube all of the devotionals on the Book of Esther for you to watch. Mid-week Lenten services hosted by our Spanish speaking members will wrap up this week. Attendance has grown during the series with English speakers joining in! Praise God!

Holy Week Schedule

As mentioned above we will celebrate Palm Sunday April 13th with one bi-lingual service at 11:00 a.m. Then Holy Week starts on Maundy Thursday April 17^th with a Service of the Word and Sacrament at 7:30 p.m. That service will be held in the Fellowship Hall downstairs in the form of a simple meal celebrating communion as part of that meal. We are asking participants to bring dishes to share, but please keep it simple with no desserts. Following the meal we will head upstairs to the sanctuary to strip the altar in preparation for Good Friday. We will gather on Friday April 18 at 7:30 p.m. to recognize Good Friday, the crucifixion of Jesus. We will be extinguishing lights and candles progressively in this service while we read the Passion Story aloud from the Gospel of John. We will gather for Easter Sunday April 20^th at 11:00 a.m. for a bi-lingual celebration of the resurrection of Christ!

Horario de Semana Santa

Easter Egg Hunt

Following the Easter Service we will hold an Easter egg hunt in the front yard of the Church for the children. Robin Clavijo is coordinating. Robin is asking for donations of eggs filled with candy other than chocolate. Please bring your donations to the Church and give to either Robin or Socorro Aragon. Thank you for your assistance!

Through the month of April, we will be collecting canned meats for the co-op, this includes tuna fish, canned chicken, SPAM, canned ham, etc.

Please bring in any used plastic bags from Kroger, Walmart, etc. to be reused by the Co-op when distributing food to clients.

Please bring in any used egg cartons to be used to distribute eggs to clients.
