Come join us for a bilingual service this Sunday beginning at 11:00 a.m. The topic of this week’s sermon is the conversation between the well-educated Jewish religious authority Nicodemus and Jesus, the controversial rabbi from the small town of Nazareth. Nicodemus is an expert in the Torah, the Jewish law. He is used to thinking in terms of black and white, thou shalt and thou shalt not. Jesus, however, speaks in terms of the Holy Spirit and being born anew in the spirit. This interaction changes Nicodemus’ life. He defends Jesus before his colleagues; and after Jesus is crucified, he arranges Jesus’ burial. It is the Holy Spirit that makes a disciple out of Nicodemus. We, like Nicodemus, are changed once we allow the Holy Spirit to work within us.

Please join us for mid-week bilingual Lenten services every Wednesday in March beginning at 7:30 p.m. We held the first service last night and had our best turnout in several years. During this series we are exploring the relationship between Jesus’ best known parables and the cross.

Memorial Service for Charlotte Rink

A memorial service for long time Amazing Grace pillar Charlotte Rink will be held on Saturday March 7^th at 2:00 p.m. at Amazing Grace. Charlotte and husband Vern were key members of Amazing Grace for many years, supporting AGLC with their prayers, presence and service, but particularly service. The family invites all members and friends of Amazing Grace to attend. We will remember Charlotte and proclaim the message of resurrection and eternal life!
